A native of Oconee County, GA, Mrs. Norris was the daughter of the late Johnnie Mell Jackson and Pallie Mae Ridgeway Jackson and was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Eugene Norris and brother, J.M. Jackson. She was a member of Bogart Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Norris of Johns Creek, her brother, Vernon Jackson and his wife, Gwen; their children, Cherie Wright and Tracy Jackson, and their children.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday, October 7th at Bogart Baptist Church with Rev Randy Strickland officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-7PM Wednesday, October 6th at Bernstein.
Mrs. Norris will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service.
