Todd was born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 24, 1961, and later moved to Athens, where he was raised by his parents Barbara (née Womack) and Cleve Clark. He graduated from Clarke Central High School in 1979 and was a member of the 1977 State Championship football team under the late Coach Billy Henderson. He attended Western Carolina but finished his college career in Athens. He was a man of many talents, but his most notable was his ability to connect with people. His fondness for meeting and getting to know people was a great asset to his lifelong career in sales. He enjoyed hunting, playing golf, Waffle House, gas station runs, unannounced visits, and any chance he had to spend time with his daughters and grandchildren.
Todd is survived by his mother, Barbara Clark of Athens, sister, Terri Manley (Mike) of Athens; brother, Bear Clark (Cathy) of Monticello; his daughters: Katy Wildes (Paul) of Columbus, Taylor Colwell (Joseph) of Columbus, and Maggie Clark of Columbus; five grandchildren: Sophia, Win, Mack, Gordy, and Clark, and former spouse and high school sweetheart, Colleen Clark of Atlanta.
