A native of Ft. Campbell, KY, Mrs. Shepherd was the daughter of the late Joe Paul Sorrells and Lucinda Underwood Sorrells.
Survivors include husband, Michael Shepherd; daughter, Michelle Jackson and husband, Tim of Athens; brothers, Ricky Sorrells and wife, Lori of Maryland and Andrew Sorrells of Flowery Branch, GA; sisters, Peggy Steffanelli and husband, Dick of Anderson, SC and Sandy Swistak and husband, Gary of Commerce, GA; granddaughters, Sidney, Savannah, and Scarlett Jackson, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday, November 21st in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev. Buford Lockman officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Tuesday, November 20th at Bernstein.
