Bernard E. Schreiber, 88, of Atlanta, died November 16, 2010. Born in Rochester, New York, Mr. Schreiber was a graduate of Colgate University, served in the Marine Corp in WWII and retired from Eastman Kodak after 37 years of service. Preceded in death by his parents, Elias and Edna Schreiber, sister, JoAnne Robinson and Norma Wilson and brother, Duane Schreiber, survivors include his wife of 60 years, Lois Schreiber, sons and daughter-in-law, Bernard F. and Sandra Schreiber, Thomas Schreiber, daughter and son-in-law, Pamela S. and Terry Beaird, grandchildren, David and Christine Beaird , Matthew Beaird, Lance and Holly Schreiber, Christy Schreiber, great-grandchildren Christopher Budreau, Catelyn Bennett and William Schreiber, brother and sister-in-law, David and Beverly Schreiber. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 11 at 1:30 pm at the Atlanta Unity Church, 3597 Parkway Lane, Norcross, Georgia 30092 with Rev. John Strickland officiating. There will be a reception for the family following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Atlanta Unity Church or Altus Hospice.
