Betty Ann Nordan Teem, 83, of Atlanta, Georgia passed away January 2, 2018. Betty was a native of Andalusia, Alabama, where she graduated from Andalusia High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Auburn University where she was an active member of Phi Mu and the Baptist Student Union. She met her husband, William Milton Teem III, in Auburn, and they were married in 1957. Betty was a dedicated wife and mother who enjoyed tennis, bridge, and volunteer work. Most of all she loved taking her children, grandchildren, and friends to her beloved Destin beach. Betty was a member of Second-Ponce de Leon Baptist Church where she was in the Friendship Sunday School Class whose members became her dear, lifelong friends. In her later years, she also attended the Anchor Sunday School Class at Peachtree Presbyterian Church. She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Mary Wilder Nordan and Walter Frank Nordan; and her brother Frank Nordan. She is survived by her children, William Milton Teem IV (Lynn), Walter Nordan Teem (Candace), Lawrence Franklin Teem (Lisa), and Mary Elizabeth Teem, and grandchildren, Kaitlyn Martin Wilson (Jerimiah), Mary Peyton Jones (Hunter), Lawrence Witt Teem, Rebecca Jordan Teem, Ellissa Barrett Teem, Nathanael Wilder Teem, David Milton Teem, and Annalise Ling Teem. Services were held January 5, 2018 at H.M. Patterson & Son – Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, Atlanta, Georgia followed by a family graveside service at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
