Bonnie Day MacLennan, 80, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia. Born on December 26, 1945, in Camden, New Jersey, Bonnie lived a life filled with adventure, connection, and love.

Bonnie graduated from Trenton High School before earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia. Her career began as a flight attendant for Delta Airlines, where she dedicated 32 years to ensuring passengers felt welcomed and cared for. Her time in the skies allowed her to see the world and meet countless people who enriched her life.

Bonnie was predeceased by her beloved husband, John H. MacLennan. She is survived by her daughter Kari Gorski; son-in-law David Gorski; granddaughter Lillian; and grandson Hunter. Bonnie cherished her family deeply and found immense joy in spending time with them and watching her grandchildren grow.

A social and vibrant individual, Bonnie had a passion for traveling with friends and family. She delighted in exploring new places, meeting new people, and forming lasting friendships along the way. Her warmth and enthusiasm left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her.

Bonnie’s memory will be treasured by all who knew her. May her adventurous spirit and loving nature continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.
