Christopher Douglas Andrew Dirr, 50, beloved father, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend died suddenly in Fort Worth, TX on August 3rd. He graduated from St. Pius X in Atlanta, Wake Forest University and received his MBA from the University of Chicago. A man of many eclectic interests, he served with the US Corps of Engineers as part of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, was a proud member of the Benbrook, Texas Citizens Patrol, was an aspiring rancher, keen herb gardener and an America's Most Wanted aficionado. He is sorely missed.
A wake and Rosary will be Sunday night at H.M. Patterson & Son- Oglethorpe Hill Funeral Home and a Mass of the Resurrection at Holy Spirit Catholic Church Monday at 10:30am with a private interment.
