Cleo S. Janoulis Edwards

Mrs. Cleo Stephens Edwards, 95, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 19, 2015. Mrs. Edwards was a lifetime member of the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation in Atlanta and an active member during her lifetime. Mrs. Edwards was survived by her son Dr. Dan Stephens, daughter in law, Elaine Stephens and granddaughter, Alexandra Rhoden. She is also survived by her two sisters, Ida Lingos of Atlanta and Catherine Matthews of Satellite Beach Fl. and numerous nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Edwards attended nursing school at the Georgia Baptist School of Nursing in Atlanta receiving her RN degree in 1944. Nursing was her true love and passion. She was the ultimate nurse — providing compassionate care to thousands of Atlanta patients during her thirty year career, many of whom still remember her loving and attentive care to this day. Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock on Wednesday July 22, 2015 at The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation and burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park.
