Evangeline B. Lane went to be with her Savior November 8, 2016. She was born in Inman South Carolina on November 21, 1923. She was married to Harry N. Lane, Sr for 53 years. Her life was dedicated to helping others which she expressed through a career as a nurse and nursing educator. She began her career as a Navy Nurse in 1945 and went on the be the founding chairman of the School of Nursing at Georgia State University. She is survived by her son Noel Lane and grandson Harry, as well as, many nieces and nephews.
