John will always be remembered for his gentle discipline, wisdom and love he showed. He lived  a healthy balanced life that taught some much. He was quit the talent on the  golf course…calm and elegant. My favorite quality was he never participate in gossip or negative stories that could hurt others. .i don’t recall once. His Christian believes were his guide and  a beautiful trait that taught many of us a true way to navigate life. He lived  his life complementing , encouraging and helping others . 

God has received a faithful servant in John Cleveland.  He is someone we should all try to  emulate ….So kind and polite… John  will be missed by us deeply. 
May Johns goodness stay within us as we continue interacting  with others. May his prose, grace patience and love stay with us.

I feel a deep loss at the passing of John Cleveland. It was my honor to work with him for many years. He quickly earned my respect at a very young age. John has proven to be extremely ethical, honest, thoughtful and a man with a kind soul. I will miss our friendship.

My family and I grew up on the same idyllic street as the Cleveland's. Duberry Court was a very special place growing up in the 60's and 70's. The Cheyne family lived across the street and two houses up. My youngest sister, Martha, was the same age as John. My mother and I send our deepest condolences to your family and pray for God's peace and protection for you all.

Worked with John when I was Business Manager of  IBEW local 613 Atlanta Ga. We became great friends and industry partners. I will miss him and our relationship, RIP John

I worked at Cleveland for 42 years from the first day John started working at the company he treated everyone with kindness and respect.  Even when things were not going well he kept a positive attitude and a smile on his face.   He was truly the one that was following in his grandfather’s footsteps with the company.  Both of them treated us as family and would have personal conversations  with you that weren’t related to work.  I have missed our conversations since my employment ended in 2014.  He will be truly missed by all but I find comfort in knowing that he’s reunited with his grandfather because they were so close. 

My prayers are with the family during this sad and difficult time.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. John Cleveland. Though I did not know him personally, I know how deeply he impacted Cleveland Electric and the people who worked here. Please accept my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and worked with him. His legacy is evident in the strength and integrity of this company, and I’m grateful to be part of it

Another thing for all you Buckhead people…don’t you dare judge him or pretend to have known him!  Apart from Jon Braatz and Kevin McCabe, his family, and some of his fraternity brothers, no one really knew John.  Please show some respect/restraint!

I am so very sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine the pain that you and your family are going through right now. My sincerest condolences go out to you all during this incredibly difficult time.

Jehovah, our Lord, is fully aware of the sorrow you are feeling, and in His word, the Bible, He has promised that He will resurrect those who have passed. As it says in Revelation 21:4, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Please take comfort in knowing that John Russell Cleveland will live again, just as Jehovah has promised. May Jehovah, our Lord, bring peace and comfort to you and your family during this time of mourning.
