Josiah J. Whitfield of Atlanta died September 22, 2015. A graduate of the University of Georgia and an avid Bulldog fan, Mr. Whitfield retired after more than 50 years of service in the insurance industry where he served as an insurance broker and client executive for The Coca-Cola Bottler’s Association. A kind and loving uncle, relative, and friend, he is survived by his caregiver and great-niece, Shannon Dunn-Delgado and family, and multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 26 at 11 o’clock at First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta. In lieu of flowers, family asks that contributions be made to Halcyon Hospice, 5411 Northland Dr. NE, Atlanta, GA 30342, in memory of Josiah.
