Mrs. Katherine Dodd “Kat” Senkbeil passed away Friday, June 29, 2012. Mrs. Senkbeil was an avid bridge player, golfer, traveled extensively and was a longtime member of the Atlanta Athletic Club with her husband. Mrs. Senkbeil was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Paul and her 4 sisters. Survivors include her sons and daughters in law, Paul H. and Janice Senkbeil; Thomas D. and Karen Senkbeil; daughter and son in law, Diane and Rick Choron; grandchildren, Jason C. Senkbeil, Sara K. Senkbeil, Lauren Swenson, Jeff Senkbeil, Trent Choron, Anna Boney; great grandchildren, Jonas and Nigel Senkbeil, Lindsley Swanson, Bradford and Hampton Boney and brother, Walter Dodd. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Senkbeil will be held Monday, July 2, 2012, 1PM at H.M. Patterson and Son Oglethorpe Hill Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
