Kevin worked with me as a teenage candystriper at Windthrop hospital in Mineola, NY. Although life took us in different directions over the years, I  never forgot his bubbly spirit with the heart of a servant. Gloria and Patrick always treated me like family. I was so shocked to see this on facebook. My prayers are with the Scollard family.

I was an acquaintance of Kevins, introduced by a common friend years ago.  Upon our first meeting over beers, Kevin was telling stories, corralling us to action, sharing his passions, and inquiring about our desires and activities.  We would run into each other often over the years, and he would stop and recall our earlier discussions, asked about tennis, our kids, etc., always with a big, honest laugh and grin. His attentiveness and presence were contagious, and while we saw each other rarely, I always looked forward to chatting with him and sharing a few moments.  I knew Kevin through these brief moments and he was a true gentleman; I can only imagine how great it was to be close to him.  I am so sorry for your loss of such a good man. 

Kevin was a classmate of mine at Duke/Fuqua, and though our paths have not crossed in the 27 years since graduation, I am deeply saddened by this news. It's clear by reading the other tributes, that the Kevin we all knew at school is the man he continued to be decades later - deeply kind, fun-loving, intelligent and thoughtful.  My school experience was definitely brighter because of him.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his whole family and close friends.  

Trust in God to help you endure the pain of your loss. He is a God of tender mercies and comfort.

Kevin was a good friend from high school and our group of friends had many fun times together. Since then, I have primarily caught up with him at reunions, including the most recent one in 2010. My husband, Gerry, and I were fortunate to have seen Kevin a few times in Garden City over the past couple of years. We are so saddened to hear of his passing and will keep the entire Scollard family in our thoughts and prayers.

We are deeply saddened by Kevin's passing. He was a great guy who always had a kind word and a smile. I will forever appreciate the impact he had on the Inman and Grady Girls Lacrosse teams and especially with my daughter. Your family remains in our prayers and hearts.

I am so so sorry to hear about Kevin's passing. Justin and Patrick went all the way through school together. Kevin was always doing something to help the kids and the school, and always with that beautiful smile.

I've only known Kevin for a short time as a work colleague.  I found his happy go lucky nature, an occasional wry grin and his positive, can-do attitude contagious. Accomplished and successful throughout his career, he took immense pride in family and his community.  A drive to dinner in Atlanta with Kevin was a history lesson or discovery of local landmarks along with his association to said landmark. Will miss his smile and cheer. My sympathies, thoughts and prayers with are with the Scollard family.

He was a kindred spirit and I enjoyed seeing him at Mass at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We would exchange pleasantries from time to time. Well done and rest in peace, good and faithful servant. I hope your family has all it needs right now. He is in a much better place.

I only met Kevin one time since joining Equifax, but have heard so many great things about him from others. I watched the video last night and was very touched by all the photos and memories, this showed what a great man and father Kevin was to his family and everyone that he touched in his life.

I will always remember how kind Kevin was to me when I started coaching our kids in soccer. I am sure he knew he was a much better coach than me, but he allowed me to coach Kelly, and for that privilege I will always be thankful. He had a smile and a hug every time I saw him, and he always made me feel so welcome. I cannot thank him enough for all he did for the girl's Inman Lacrosse team, and the confidence that team and experience built in Maddie. I first met Kevin as part of a corporate leadership training event back in 1994.  Before the week was out, he had the entire group over to his house for a cook-out where he made everyone feel welcome and at home.  Through the years as our paths crossed occasionally, he always had a friendly comment, warm smile, and hearty laugh. That's the type of person he was and the way I will remember Kevin.  My most sincere condolences for his family. 

I worked with Kevin at Equifax back in the first days of Decision Power. I can close my eyes and see him as that younger guy . He was a positive force in every way. My condolences to the Scollard family and friends.

My deepest condolences to Kevin's family and friends.  I have so many great memories of our time together and was always amazed by his positive outlook on just about everything in life.  I will keep you in our prayers.

One of the greatest people I have ever met.  I went to Mexico with Kevin in the mid 1980s and one of the most vivid memories and lessons from the trip was how kind Kevin was to every person he met on the trip. He engaged with every local person he met, even if they were gardening at our hotel, or busing tables in the restaurants. He said hello and asked people their name, and treated each person with dignity.  Just a tremendous person, full of kindness and sensitivity and thoughtfulness. He is already sorely missed.

Kevin hired me at Equifax many years ago.  I enjoyed working with him and have nothing but fond memories of Kevin.  May God comfort you in your time of loss.

I only met Kevin once - when my family hopped aboard a chartered bus he had organized to a UGA football game last fall. We were complete strangers to everyone on the bus, who all knew each other, but we had the time of our lives, thanks in no small part to Kevin. He was so friendly and welcoming, and obviously so proud of his kids - we felt lucky to be among such a great group of people. Kevin was a great father ,husband,brother and uncle .I am proud to say I consider his son Patrick a friend  and his nephews Riley,Carson and Trey.
They spent a great day on New York harbor with me years ago ,All these young men were so respectfully and curious .It was an honor to spend time with his family,

I have so many great memories of working with Kevin at Visionary Systems. He was always such a positive force and a ray of sunshine in our office.  I am so sorry for your loss.

This is a great loss for many.  He was a true friend to those of us blessed enough to call him a friend.  He was a great help to me in many ways, but mainly  as one that made each event we shared so much better.  I know I am a better husband, friend, dad and provider because of his wisdom and intellect, coupled with his capacity to care.  

I have known very few men who are so incredibly proud and joyful over their family.  He will be missed so very much by all who enjoyed him.

My memory of Kevin is of when he visited Ireland a number of years ago.  He came to visit me in Waterford and we ate in a really nice fish restaurant.  He spent the evening talking and telling stories, and eating.  It is such a lovely vivid memory of  him and one I treasure.  We recently had the opportunity to meet his lovely daughter Kelly while she was visiting Ireland.  She is a credit to both Kevin and Michelle and demonstrates the caring and loving traits that were so evident in Kevin.  His spirit will live on in both Kelly and Patrick.  Heartbroken for you all, and wish we could be there to support you through these difficult times.
