Marjorie Elizabeth Hayes Drummond

Marjorie Elizabeth Drummond, formerly of Smyrna, GA, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2013 in Charleston, SC. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and Wallace Clark and Bonnie and Steve Redmond, three grandchildren, Brent, Brandy and Stephen Clark and one brother, Hugh Hayes. Mrs. Drummond was preceded in death by her husband, Millard C. Drummond, and her parents, Belk and Pearl Surrett Hayes. She worked During WWII as a Riveter at Bell Air Craft, was a Seamstress for many years, and was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Kennestone Hospital for 15 years. She was a member of Central Baptist Church of Marietta, a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed traveling with her daughters. All who knew “Marge” will miss her beautiful smile and sweet gentle nature. Funeral will be Monday, July 8th at 11 O’clock in the chapel at H. M. Patterson & Son, Spring Hill, Atlanta. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends Sunday, July 7th from 3 until 7 O’clock at Spring Hill.
