Mildred (Mickie) Bloodworth Holton died Friday January 10, 2025. She was 100 years old, born April 27, 1924. She was the daughter of Harold and Grace Bloodworth and pre deceased by her husband, Byron. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Paules, Nancy Skinner (Philip), Pattie Jones (David); grand children, Jamie Streeter (Dave), Margaret Carswell (Gordon), Valerie Cunning (Dan), William Jones and Chris Jones and great grandchildren Jack O’Brien and Sienna Mackay. Her family is grateful for the care she received from the Kingsbridge Retirement Center staff and her helpers at Personal Care, Inc. She was very involved in The Garden Club of Georgia; being an emeritus member of The GCG Board for many years. She served as Dekalb Federation President 1992-1993, Dogwood District Director 1999-2001 and Redbud District Director 2007-2009. She was involved in the Leafmore Hills Garden club as well as a master flower show judge.
Her memorial will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 2 pm at H. M. Patterson and Son-Oglethorpe Hill, 4550 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30319.
