Phil Freeman Baker, 83, of Atlanta, Georgia, died January 1, 2015, after a brief illness. A Korean War Veteran, Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his wife, Doloris Baker, daughter, Darlyn Baker Dunk, granddaughter, Jolie Baker and sister, Joy Brown. Survivors include his sons, Duane Baker and Darryl Baker; daughters, Deirdre (Manuel) Gonzales, Darcey (Robert) Latzsch and Desiree Baker; grandchildren, Alan and Isabella Baker; Laina, Samuel, Noah and Jeannie Latzsch; Demi Gonzales. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 4 at 2:30pm at Skyland United Methodist Church. Interment Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 3 from 4pm to 6pm at H.M. Patterson & Son, Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Road, NE, Brookhaven, Georgia, 30319.
