Rochelle "Rocket" Lopyan

Rochelle “Rocket” Lopyan, born in New York City, NY, passed away on November 25, 2021 in Atlanta, GA. Rocket was born to Milton and Miriam Lopyan. She was a pediatric dentist who attended dental school at University of Florida and Emory University. She practiced pediatric dentistry at several places for many years. She was involved with bicycling, scuba diving and she loved working with technology. She enjoyed music and fine arts. She especially enjoyed spending time with her dog, Rufus. Rocket was actively involved with her grandson’s upbringing. She especially enjoyed Cub Scouts and teaching him to swim and bicycle. Rocket was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Louis, Stanley, and Kevin Lopyan and her daughter, Amber Lopyan. She is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Lopyan and grandson, Hampton Rickerson. A gathering for Rocket will be held Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at H.M. Patterson & Son-Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Road Ne, Atlanta, GA 30319.
