Sarah Seawright Cooper, 94, of Atlanta, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a true southern lady, died March 9, 2011. She was a life-long Presbyterian and a member of Oglethorpe Presbyterian Church. As members of the Alabama Wandering Stars RV Club, Mrs. Cooper and her husband traveled to 48 states. Preceded in death by her husband Joe M. Cooper and son, Marshall S. Cooper, survivors include her daughters, Linda Jones of Chamblee; Ann C. Jenkins of Hoschton; son and daughter in law, Joseph D and Karen Cooper of LaGrange; daughter-in-law, Patsy Cooper of Decatur; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 11th at 3 o’clock at Oglethorpe Presbyterian Church with a reception following the service.
