Victor’s smile lit up a room and remember him calling my husband Sir every-time we saw him , even though we were twenty years his junior. As another relative shared, all of my memories of him are from family reunions  at Swan Lake as well, eating, swimming, jumping off the dock,  and repeat all day long.

My heart hurts for all that grieve but especially  for his siblings and family  that took care of him, not because you had to, but because you were honored to. I am quite certain it was hard at times but  you would have never known it. I recognized that as a young child and appreciate that even more so as an adult.   Each of your children idolized him and loved time with their amazing Uncle!

As people often say, I regret time and distance has passed but honored to be Victor’s extended cousin and  am sending my love and prayers tomorrow and in days to come.  Ever since my Mom shared of his passing, I have  imagined  what his reunion must have been like with his Momma. 



Uncle Victor always greeted me with “Hey Keith!” followed by a really big hug, which I always looked forward to.  I loved how pure he was, how sweet he was. He had a wonderful sense of humor. I remember when we would meet up for family reunions at Swan Lake, one of our favorite things to do was to go swimming. Victor and I would take turns doing cannonballs off the floating pier and try to get each other more wet each time.  I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say, Uncle Victor, we will miss you so much but we are looking forward to seeing you again one day in Heaven. Love you and miss you ~ Keith

Victor was a special angel here on earth that God sent to bless everyone that he met. Scott, Victor knew and felt the love and compassion that you genuinely shared with him.  Prayers and hugs to all the Johnson families. 

He was preceded in death by an older brother and sister.


He is survived by two aunts, Margie Rickles and Margie Brookshear.


He is also survived by his older brothers and their families:
Harris III and Connie,
Scott and Terri,
Mike and Melinda,


and numerous cousins and nephews.
