Abram Hagen Schellenger

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Monday, April 1, 2019, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 2001 Noccalula Road for Abram Hagen Schellenger, age 14 of Attalla, who passed from this life on March 28, 2019. Bishop Stephen Kimball to officiate, Morgan Chapel directing. Burial to follow at Conn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1pm until the time of the service.

Pallbearers will be Asher Clayton Hibbs, Jeremy Lawson Cast, Shannon Ray Peppers, Nathan Evan Helms, Johnny Williams, Ian Esperra.

It is hard to imagine any decent life without Abram’s laughter in it. He was here in part to make us all smile. And he succeeded. He EXCEEDED. He brought joy and laughter to this world every single day. If there were only one way to describe Abram, it would be that he was JOY PERSONIFIED. Men are that they might have joy. He loved and wanted to be loved with his whole heart. It was as simple as that for him. We are reminded of a shooting star. He was here for such a short time, but he was a brilliant and beautiful light. He was much too wise for the ways of this world. He did not see things the way most of us mortals do. No, Abram saw places that were in need of light, so he stood in them and glowed. And sometimes he even outshone the sun.

Atlas has fallen in order to hold the sky.

He leaves us all behind.
