

Andy M. Gorecki aka “Papa G” passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at the age of 71 in his home town surrounded by family and loved ones. Born February 24, 1952 to the late Henry and Barbara Gorecki. An educated, honor student in Poland, Papa G will always be remembered for his unforgettable personality, his generous heart and his deep love for his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who touched the lives of many people in the community. Andy emigrated from Poland to America in 1969 and later became a U.S. Citizen which meant the world to him. He had many careers but the one he was most proud of was his career in law enforcement. Papa G’s honest hard working personality made him many friends over the years.
He was a devoted husband to his wife and sweetheart of 50 years, Irene Gorecki, a loving father to Andrew Gorecki, Amy Gorecki Kelley and James Kelley, a devoted brother to Elizabeth, Martha and Jack, and a devoted papa to his grandchildren, Jamey Grace, Andrew Scott, Grayson James and Maddy Song.
He spent his time playing accordion, playing solitaire, reading history, carpentry and simply working in his garden. Papa G’s legacy will live on through his family and friends, his unwavering love, his imperfections, laughter and sense of humor will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Morgan Funeral Chapel from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M., friends and family are invited to celebrate his legacy with a graveside service immediately following visitation.

Rest in peace Papa G, you will be missed but never forgotten.
