Phillip and Deeann welcomed Ashton into the world on March 10, 1986 in Attalla Alabama. This is where she would spend the first part of her life growing into her beautiful self. However, to know Ashton is to know her fiery-free spirit could not be tamed. She would later fulfill her lifelong dream of living at the beach and move to Gulf Shores, Alabama in 2020. Ashton’s greatest accomplishment in life, as she would tell everyone she met, was being a mother to her four children. To her children, she was the definition of supermom and they describe her as beautiful, miraculous, unconditional, and inspiring. To her family, she was selfless, hardworking, and resilient. To her friends, she was compassionate, generous, and radiant.
Ashton is survived by her four children, Emma Wood, Ethan Wesson, Eli Wood, and Evan Wesson; her father John Phillip Wood; sister, Brianna Brandt (David); brother, Jagger Humphrey; nieces and nephews, Claire Brandt, Callum Brandt, Spencer Brandt; and lifelong partner, Robby Wesson.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Deanne Talton; grandmother, Martha Wood; grandfather, J.W. Wood; grandmother, Dorthy Mae Talton; and childhood best friend, Jeremy Brown.
She also received a lifetime of love and support from her aunt, Sandy Harbin; cousin, Crystal Harbin; uncle, Randall (Kathy) Wood; cousin, Brian Wood; and many dear friends.
