Barbara Lou Kennedy

A private ceremony is to be determined at Shoats Cemetery.

Barbara was a lifelong resident of Steele, Alabama. She was a huge Elvis fan. She loved Jesus and kept her faith through all her trials. She loved line dancing and country music. She was loved by her family and those that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Lillie Wade; grandson, Nicholas Looney; and nephew, Mike Wood.

She is survived by her sisters, Nellie Wood and Bobby (Jerry) Gladden; children, Sheila Kennedy Dobson (Kenny), Rita Kennedy Boggs (Stoney), Joseph Kennedy, Travis Kennedy (Ines), Tanya Kennedy Walker (Troy); grandchildren, Alana Dobson, Dakotah Holcombe (Kent), Jake Wise, Jackson Harris, Camry Morgan (Jerry), Austin Kennedy (Chelsea), Kyndal Goodwin (Evan), Kadance Kennedy, Jordan Looney (Chelsea) and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jake Wise, Jackson Harris, Evan Kennedy, Jordan Looney, and Austin Kennedy.
