Billy was a longtime member of Cherry Street Baptist Church in Attalla, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Hamilton and Glenda Diane Day Hamilton.
He is survived by his son, James Phillip Hamilton (Nadja); daughter, Diane Hamilton Pruitt (Steve); daughter, Donna Hamilton Pike (Steven); son, Jason Scott Hamilton; sisters, Dorothy Stone Cypher and Geneva Barclay.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carpenters of Christ c/o Cherry Street Baptist Church.
