Bobby Gene Self

Bobby was a devoted family man, known for his kind spirit and easygoing nature. He spent his life as a restaurant owner, serving his community with pride and dedication. He was a good father, a faithful churchgoer, and someone who truly enjoyed the simple moments in life.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doris Self.

He is survived by his daughters, Tina Mann and Lisa Bramlett; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy and pride.

A visitation will be held on April 10, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on April 11, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 PM on April 11, 2026, at Morgan Funeral Chapel, with Brother Michael Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Church Cemetery.

The family would like to extend special thanks to all his sisters and to Becky Cox.

Bobby will be remembered for his warm heart, steady presence, and the love he shared with everyone who knew him.
