Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at 1pm for Christopher Smith, age 46 of Ashville who passed from this life on September 3, 2020. Burial will be held at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Morgan Funeral Chapel directing.
Christopher was a beloved husband, daddy, and pawpaw. He loved spending time with his family, was a great hunter, and loved everything outdoors. He especially enjoyed watching his hummingbirds on the porch.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.L. and Agnes Montgomery; parents, Donnie and Shirley Smith; and his granddaughter, Sage Chamblee. He is survived by his wife, Patrisha Smith; children, Anthony (Jessie) Claborn, Michael Claborn, Kristen (Tim) Maddox, Hollie Campbell, Tristen (Cheyenne) Smith, and Whitney Lowe; grandchildren, Jake, Jasmine, Tayleigh, Derek, Alaeya, and Christopher Jayce; brother Scott Smith; his step-dad, Bobby Messer; and so many friends and family.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Maddox, Ryan Roper, James Lowe, Scott Pruitt, Adam Pruitt, Coty Gragg, Randy Bowling, and Steven Franklin. Honorary pallbearer, Jake Newton.
