Coy Lee Robinson

Funeral services will be Sunday, March 8th, 2020, at 3:00 p.m., at Chandler Mtn. Missionary Baptist Church for Coy Lee Robinson, 79, of Steele, who passed away Wednesday, March 4th, 2020. The Reverends Paul Alexander and Danny Wise will officiate. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory.

Coy was always considered to be the rock of his community. He was a faithful member of Chandler Mtn. Missionary Baptist Church. He was a lifelong resident of Steele, Alabama. He was a true southern gentleman that was full of kindness and love for his family, his friends, his community, and for his church. His passions in life were delivering food to his community, fishing, and Alabama Football.

Preceding him in death is his father, Nolie Robinson; and mother, Lillian Robinson.

Survivors include his daughters, Paula (Jason) Bailey, Kimberly Porter, Stephanie (Roland Stucky) Sims; grandchildren, Micheal D. Gilley, Jr., Jason (Kate McCarty) Aucoin, Jordon Aucoin, Autumn Bailey; great grandchildren, Ryder, Brenley, Bryleigh, Caroline, Breanna, Kirsten; brothers, Roger Dale (Sandra) Robinson, Verbon (Joan) Robinson; sister, Faye Washington.

Pallbearers will be Glen Alexander, Eddie Mac Beasley, Jason Coffee, Richard Reynolds, Roland Stucky, and Josh Beasley.

Honorary pallbearers will be special family friend David Cagle and special friend Nick Swindall.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the church on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service
