Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday November 26, 2017 at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Attalla.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday from 12 Noon to 2 P.M., prior to the service in the chapel.
Rev. Craig Carlisle will officiate the service.
Interment will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Rogers was a veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II and a former member of Twelfth Street Baptist Church.
He leaves behind;

Son, Edgar R. Rogers III
Daughter in law, Karen C. Rogers
Grandchildren, Katie and Kelsey Rogers
Sister, Frances Watkins
Sister in law, Doris Rogers
Those preceding him in death include his parents, Edgar R. and Willie Inez Rogers and brother, Ralph Rogers.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Stanley Taylor, Randy Barksdale, Harold Igou, Rick Kemp, Bud Stewart, and Don Young.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Twelfth Street Baptist Church.
Military Honors will be provided by the U.S. Army.
