Funeral Service will be at 11am Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Sister Teresa Chapman officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10 until 11am.
Burial at Cave Springs Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters; Judy Perry, Phyllis (Allen) Strange, Stella (Allen) Fortenberry, Patti (Tony) Morgan; and son, Johnny (Jan) Gilbert; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bufford Sweatt of 55 years; two daughters, Carolyn Dunn and Terry Dyar; 2 grandchildren, Jeff Dun and Rachel Buchanan; 6 sisters and 5 brothers.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family wishes to express their sincere thankfulness to the Hospice nurses that took such great care of their mom.
