Gail T Hill

Gail was a 1962 graduate of Emma Sansom High School. She was the co-founder of Charity Pig Roast, an Etowah County organization which provided Christmas for needy children for many years. She was lovingly known as Ms.Gail to the many children that she babysat over the years.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Y.C. and Verna Addison; Siblings, Gene Addison, Bonnie Champion, Helen Fox, Harold Addison, Ernestine Leath, and Flodean Laney.

Gail is survived by the loves of her life; sons, Lynn Townsel (Kelly), Greg Townsel (Tassy), Grandchildren, Brody Townsel (Abby), Aleigh Townsel Luttrell (Jackson), Laina Townsel (Samuel Dutton), Cj Townsel, Jesi Andres; great grandson Baylon Townsel; Siblings, Kenneth Addison (Nancy), Gwen Kelley, Michael Joe Addison (Teresa).

Pallbearers will be Jim Champion, Jack Champion, Heath Mecham, Shaun Mecham, Colton Mecham, Brian Thomason, Dewayne Hare, Allen Black.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jane Reddish Wagers, Carol Swords, Traci Hicks Howard.

Special thanks to Alabama Cardiovascular Group, Gadsden Regional physicians & SICU staff, especially Lydia Ellard, RN, Elizabeth Muskett, RN, & Staci Bailey, RN.

Life Celebration will be held Monday April 1, 2024 with visitation from 12:00-2:00pm at Morgan Funeral Home, Attalla, AL with burial to follow at Rainbow Memorial Garden.
