Mrs. Bailey was a native of Dekalb County and had moved to Gadsden in 1972. She and her husband opened Bailey’s Alternator and starter Shop in 1976. She loved cooking, quilting, antiquing, and flea markets. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and sister whose wit and laughter will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years Gordon Bailey; son Chad Bailey; grandchildren Fisher Bailey and Gabrielle Bailey; Sisters Mary Mauldin, Cookie (Wayne) Watson, and Diane (Edwin) Clayton; sister in law Katherine (Ben) O’Shields; several nieces and nephews; and chosen sons Greg Johnson, Terry Haney, and Chris Smith.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Perry Don Mauldin.
