James Henry Hill Jr.

Funeral service will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Friday February 10, 2017 at 2 P.M.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday at the funeral home from 12 Noon to 2 P.M.

Bro. Chris Gallagher will officiate the service.

Graveside service and Interment following at Crestwood Cemetery.

James was a Vietnam Veteran, having served in the First Infantry (Big Red One). As a result of his service and sacrifice in battle, he was awarded two Purple Hearts and was a Bronze Star Recipient. Not only was he a Vietnam hero, but our family hero as well- leading our family with love and doting upon his grandchildren. After returning home James received his degree and worked as an optician for over thirty-five years. A loving father, wonderful husband, grandfather, brother and friend- he loved life, never met a stranger and helped all those in need. James was preceded in death by his parents, James Henry Hill, Sr. and Hazel Dean Hill.
