

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 from 5 until 8pm. at Carnes Chapel FCM. Funeral Service will be at 2pm Thursday, December 11, 2025 at Carnes Chapel FMC with Bro. Matt Carnes and Bro. Deon Black officiating. Visitation will also be prior to the service on Thursday from 10 until 2pm. Burial to follow in adjoining cemetery.
On Monday December 8, 2025 at 3:37pm Loretta Ann (Davenport) Willingham, born July 30, 1941 went home to be with the Lord. Loretta was a 1959 Etowah High School graduate. She was a faithful member of Carnes Chapel FCM Church for 66 years. Loretta's first job was at Woolworths, from there she sold Avon, Stanley products and Tupperware to local community and friends. She worked at the Wal-Mart in Boaz for 21 1/2 years, West End High School Lunchroom for 12 years.Loretta loved going to trips with her friends, Betty Gargus, Charlotte Hopper and Lynn Washburn and family. Her favorite color was pink. She loved cooking homemade meals for her family and made sure no one was left hungry. Loretta was married 62 years to the love of her life, Rayburn Willingham.
Loretta is preceded in death by her husband, Rayburn Willingham; parents, Roy and Claudia Davenport; sisters, Betty Lou Davenport, Inez Abercrombie, Rosa Lee Davis, Virginia Casey; brothers, infant son, Erskin Davenport, Troy Davenport, Ernest Davenport, Emmett Davenport; daughter in law, Laura Willingham.
Loretta is survived by her children, Phillip (Terri) Willingham, Pam (Bucky) Cole, Angela Gilliland; sister in law, Dollie Willingham and Joyce Willingham; grandchildren, Blake (Denise) Willingham, Derrick Willingham, Kristen (Jesse) Beavers, Hunter Gilliland, Brooke Gilliland, Beth Cole; great grandchildren, Landon Willingham, Jaiden Willingham, Caylee Parson, Logan Parson, and Oliva Beavers.
The family would like to say thank you for all the texts and calls during this time. A special thank you to the staff in the MICU Gadsden Regional Hospital, Amedisys Hospice and Dr. Debora Reiland for giving our mom the care.
Pallbearers will be Blake Willingham, Derrick Willingham, Hunter Gilliland, Landon Willingham, Logan Parson, Mark Willingham, Robert Ward, and Larry Davenport.
