

Louis Ray Rodgers, 80 of Attalla passed away February 5, 2022. Funeral Service will be at 12p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Morgan Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10 until 12p.m. Burial with Military honors will be at Rainbow Memorial Gardens following the service.
Louis was a graduate of Snead State and Gadsden State Community College. He was preceded in death by his mother, Loriene Rodgers; father, Louis Rodgers; chosen mother, Betty Rodgers; and mother in law, Wydene Thacker; brother in laws, Ronnie Harden, Tommy Harden, Buddy Holland; sister in law, Rita Studdard.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian Kay Rodgers; children, Kenny (Sonya), Angela (Billy), Daniel (Julia); chosen daughter, Heather (Troy) Evetts, Amber Jackson (John Cook), and chosen son, Josh Phillips; grandchildren, Sumer, Jamie, Andrew, Stephanie, Peyton, Will, Zach, and Neely; great grandchildren, Colton, Kamran, Rachel, Levi, Alaina, Braiden, and Braxtyn; sisters, Sissy Holland, Mary Harden; brother in laws, Warren (Paula) Thacker, Kerry (Beth) Thacker, and Paul Studdard.
Pallbearers will be Troy Evetts, Shane Earles, Andrew Sims, Dean Conley, Stacy Burtram, and Nick Burtram.
Honorary pallbearers will be Alan Harden, Johnny Harden, Goldenod Aveune Baptist Church, East Gadsden Walmart, 4th St. Chick Fil A, Larry Bishop, Scott Holcomb, and Chad Holcomb.
