Mary Nell Banks

A visitation will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Saturday, 10th 2026 from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm. A chapel service will begin at 2:00 pm.

Rev. Nathan Daniels will officiate.

Mary was a member of First Baptist church of Ashville, and Joy Sunday school class. She worked for 42 years at Farmers and Merchants bank, as well as, Union State Bank. Mary enjoyed spending time in her sunroom bird watching with Thomas, and their cat Twinkle.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, William Elbert Sprayberry; mother, Lora Effie Sprayberry; and James B. Little

Mary is survived by Thomas Banks, Amy (Mark) Marbut, Ryan Marbut; Glenn (Maria) Little, Lauren (Matt) Dees, Mark (Deborah) Banks, Amanda (Scott) Jenkins, Bryce, Brynlee, Matthew (Hannah) Griffin, Annie and Samuel Dean, and Norma Jean Beck.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mickey Farmer, Darryl Farmer, Bobby Beck, Alex Farmer, Branden Farmer, and Larry Touart.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Ashville, 85 5th Ave, Ashville, AL 35953, or St Jude Children's Hospital.
