Funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday December 6, 2017 at Morgan Funeral Chapel.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12 Noon to 2 P.M. prior to the service in the chapel.

Rev. Tommy Sanders will officiate.

Nancy was employed over thirty years at Gulf States Steel. She played the organ and was a faithful member at Kyle Avenue Baptist Church for many years. The great loves of her life were Jesus, Jack, her kids, and Alabama football. Those preceding her in death include her husband, Jack Schwartz; granddaughter, Patricia Jill Elkins; her parents, Juanita and Marcus; and siblings, Irwin, Jeff, Debra, Dusty and Scott.

She leaves behind;

Children, Michael Jacobs (Darlene), Sherri Elkins and Wendy Thomaston.

Grandchildren; Jacob “Jake”, Matthew, Marcus, Angel, and Erica.

Step children, Glenda (Terry) Hull and Jackie (Julie) Schwartz.

Step-grandchildren; Seth, Kayne, Angel, Sarah, Emily, and Ashley.

Along with eight great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any of the following organizations; American Diabetes Association, Wounded Warrior Project, or The Well House.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Rev. Tommy Sanders, Teresa Ledbetter, Dina Deason, Andrea Furman, Heather at Alacare and the staff of Coosa Valley Rehabilitation.
