Robert Allen Moore Jr.

A memorial service will be held to honor his life at Walnut Grove United Methodist Church on Tuesday September 4, 2018 at 11 A.M. Bobby’s family will receive friends for visitation for a half hour prior to the memorial service Tuesday, from 10:30 A.M. to 11 A.M. Rev. Bridget Dowdy and Rev. Jeff Davis will officiate the service. Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory announcing.

Bobby was a graduate of West End High School, Class of 1980, where he earned the title of valedictorian and was active in numerous extracurricular clubs, sports and activities. After high school he attended Auburn University and began what he was most proud of, raising a family. Bobby was the father of two children and loved being an active part of their lives, spending time with them and coaching their athletic teams as they grew up. He also enjoyed time in his garden- tending to and harvesting vegetables. A man of many talents, he liked to roll coins, collect arrowheads and make the best fudge in town. Bobby was a free spirit and full of wit, humor and simple acts of kindness. He will be dearly missed by the many who knew and loved him. Those preceding him in death include his father, Robert Allen Moore, Sr.

He leaves behind a loving family including;

Mother, Nancy Holmes Moore.

Sister, Vicki Lynn Moore, M.D.

Brother, Stephen Scott Moore.

Son, Michael Allen Moore.

Daughter, Brandi Nichole Mauro.

Granddaughters, Mekhia Moore & Meliyah Moore.

And a host of extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church.
