

Funeral service will be held at 3 pm on Sunday January 7, 2018 at Morgan Funeral Chapel. Rev. Lauil Thompson will officiate. Interment will be in Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory will be directing the service.
Mrs. Stevens was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Winfred “Steve” Stevens and her parents, William H and Nellie Hunt
Sally graduated from Geraldine High School in 1950. She moved to Gadsden and worked for Southeastern Appraisal Company. She and Winfred, brother, Sam and sister in law Margaret owned Stevens Grocery in Rainbow City for many years. She was a member of White Springs Baptist Church. She was a member of the Southside Red Hat Club. She was devoted to her family. Sally enjoyed cheering for her husband, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews in so many sports over the years. She was the number One fan for so many.
She is survived by son, Michael Kent (Gayle) Stevens; daughter, Christi Stevens (Scott) Mayo; granddaughters, Molly Tucker and Scoti Mayo (Derrick Kirby); grandsons, Beau Tucker, Sgt. Zachary Stevens, Perry Stevens, Dustin (Jennifer) Mayo and Greatgrandchildren, Christian Taylor, Nora Kirby, D.J. Kirby, Canaan and Cohen Mayo and Evie and Rose Stevens; brother, Roy D. Hunt and sister, Sydney Cofield and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Beau Tucker, Perry Stevens, Dusty Mayo, Derrick Kirby, Jacob Freeman, Zach Stevens.
Honorary pallbearers will be nephews.
Heartfelt thanks to Southside Fire Department, Woodland Place Assisted Living, Amedysis Hospice, Kindred Home Health, Dr. Courtney and Deb Lowe and Jacob Freeman.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm-3pm Sunday at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
