Tim was a devoted member of Heritage Baptist Church in Southside, where he loved to cook breakfast on Sundays. A beloved employee of Hill Plumbing for nearly 40 years, he quickly became an honorary member of the Hill family. Tim loved Auburn football, fishing, hunting, and could create anything out of wood. To know Tim was to love him. He was cherished by all who knew him.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Bessie Maxwell Simonton; and his sister, Donna Kay Watts.
Tim is survived by his chosen family: Todd, Kim, Ethan and Jessie (James) Hill; Connie and Shayla Simonton; Sisters Jane and Janna; and brother Joe Simonton.
