Funeral will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 19 at Morgan Funeral Chapel for Valeria Sue Christopher age 85 address 609A Chestnut St; Attalla, AL 35954. She went to be with the Lord on March 14, 2021. Rev Joe Cryder, Rev Dale Brewer & Rev Marvin Richardson will officiate. Burial and grave side service at Crestwood Cemetery. Morgan Funeral Home is in charge.

Valeria was a loving and godly wife, mother, granny, granna, gan gan, daughter, sister, aunt & friend. She loved her God, her church family and any reason to have a gathering.

She was born Valeria Sue Meeks on May 17, 1935 the forth daughter of Walter Franklin Meeks Sr & Ima Valeria Meeks. She was a 1953 graduate of Emma Sansom High School. She married Lonnie Clifford Cline Sr on June 25, 1955. Together they provided a loving home with Christian values for eight children. Lonnie went to be with the Lord January 21, 1985. She married Fred David Christopher on November 19, 1988 and gained two daughters. She spent her final days surrounded by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie Clifford Cline Sr, parents Walter & Ima Meeks; sisters Virgina (George) Cline & Sara (Larry) Maxwell; and brother Walter Franklin Meeks Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years Fred David Christopher; sons Lonnie Clifford (Candy) Cline Jr, George Anthony Cline & Carter Mathew Cline; daughters Sheila (Stanley) Graben, Dawne (Randy) Malone, Stephanie (Brian) Thomas, Rebecca (Terry) Evans, Renee (LaWayne) Hilderbrand, Debbie (Scott) Glass, & Lisa (Donnie) Edwards; grandchildren Kelly (Jason) Knight, Janna (Joseph) Rakestraw, Darrell (Casey) Hilderbrand, Rhett Hilderbrand, Dillion Hilderbrand, Jared (Rachel) Cline, Cameron Cline, Noah Cline, Lonnie Isaac, Whitney Rowe, Logan Rowe, Bayne Cline (Sasha Rozelle), Brooke (Nathan) Gamel, April Edwards, Caitlin Thomas & Zach Thomas; great grandchildren Claire & Emily Knight, Jaden & Jeremiah Cline, Jamie & Jakson Rakestraw, Brady & Ruby Hilderbrand, Ryder & Romie Hiderbrand (Kristen Hawk), Gabriel Edwards, Luke Mason, Savannah Church, Ollie Isaac (Ashley Murphree), Camden Isaac (Katie Williams), & Calliope Musselman (Justin Musselman); sisters Toy (Burt) Washburn, Maxine (Roy) Rice & Louise Chambers; dearest friend Yvonne Burgess; and a large number of nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Rainbow City Church of God of the Union Assembly; 201 Rescia Ave; Rainbow City, AL 35906.

Pallbearers will be Jared Cline, Cameron Cline, Noah Cline, Lonnie Isaac, Logan Rowe, Darrell Hilderbrand, Dillion Hilderbrand, Luke Mason & Bayne Cline; honorary pallbearers Jamie Rakestraw, Jakson Rakestraw, Brady Hilderbrand, Ryder Hilderbrand, Jaden Cline, Jeremiah Cline, Camden Isaac, Gabriel Edwards, Jason Knight, Joseph Rakestraw & Rhett Hilderbrand.

Visitation will be at Morgan Funeral Chapel at 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, March 19, 2021 preceded by private visitation for the family at 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
