A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 3rd at 1:00 pm at Altoona Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Clyde Jenkins will officiate.
Wanda was born in Blountsville, AL, in 1942. Then moving to Altoona and graduating from Altoona High School in 1960. Wanda married James “Sonny” Williams and was married for 43 years. Together they had one son, Michael Williams. Wanda was employed at V.F. Corp for 28 years, in various locations. She retired in 2012. Wanda passed peacefully at her home.
Wanda was preceded in death by her father, Ray Smith; mother, Faye Smith, brother, Jimmy Smith.
Wanda is survived by her son, Michael Williams; sisters, Georgia Travis and Mary McCullough; brother, James Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Chad Gibson, Shawn Dillard, Jason Garmany, Heath Yates, Steve McNair, and Dennis Coffelt.
