Doris F Spitler

She married Ralph S. Spitler on July 20, 1940. They owned Ralph’s Cleaners in Attica, OH. Doris was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and Rebekah Lodge where she held the office of Noble Grand. She and Ralph lived in Zephyrhills, FL for 20 plus years. First and foremost Doris was a devoted wife and wonderful mother of six children which included two sets of twins.

She is survived by children Patricia A. (Stanley II) Irons of Oregon,OH, Ronald J. (Gloria) Spitler of Lake Orion, MI, Darl W. Spitler of Toledo, OH, John A. (Sally) Spitler of Perrysburg, OH, Jane E. (Frank) Vazquez of New Albany, OH, daughter-in-law Carla J. Spitler of Whitehouse, OH, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Also surviving are sisters Iola Williams of Republic, OH and Cleona (Leonard) Stockmaster of Attica, OH.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph (2003), son Carl R. Spitler (2011), brothers Harold and Wayland Bollinger and sister Ruth Weinandy.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Attica-Venice Twp. Cemetery, Attica, OH. The staff of the Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service is assisting the family with the arrangements.
