Betty Lee Berger

Betty Lee Berger, 94, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 in Auburn, CA. She was born on February, 27, 1922 in Los Angeles, CA to Robert and Anna Erwin. She moved to Coronado, CA as infant and lived there most of her life. She graduated from Coronado High School and moved to Bremerton, WA with her family, where she worked and met Don, who became her husband. After raising their children in Bishop, CA, she worked with her husband at the family owned business, Don's Fashions. Betty moved to San Diego following the loss of her husband of 54 years in 1996. An avid gardener, she was involved in a garden club, book club and her church. She loved returning to the place she grew up and where her brother, Bob, was living.

She is survived by her children Nanci and Bill Engle of La Jolla, CA; Kathe and Bill Beadle of Weimar, CA; Judi Morgan of Spokane, WA; Tom and Stacey Berger of Arlington, TX; brother Sam and Shirley Erwin of Tracyton, WA; grandchildren Nick Berger of Dallas, TX; Katie and Oscar Carrillo of Corpus Christi, TX; Trisha Berger of Arlington, TX; Andrew and Rose Morgan of Beaverton, OR; Bryan Morgan of Portland, OR; great grandchildren Lucian Morgan of Beaverton, OR and Cruz Carrillo (due February 2017) of Corpus Christi, TX. Betty touched many lives and will be truly missed by all who were honored to know her and who loved her. Her Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 10:00am at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in the Little Chapel of Roses, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902.
