

Nick passed away quietly in his sleep with his loving family around him. Born in Los Angeles, then known as “Watts”, he graduated from Inglewood High School and attended Sheet Metal Trade School. At age 19 he joined the Navy 91st Seebees (CB’s) during WWII and served 3 years in the Philippines and Australia. In 1949 he married the love of his life, Dolores Bellante and together had 4 children. Frank Aleccia of Auburn, Cathie Gill of Garden Grove, Gary (Donna) Aleccia of Auburn, and Gina Aleccia of Lincoln. He had 6 beautiful grandchildren. Ryan Gill who preceded Nicks arrival into heaven, Aleccia Golobish of Folsom, Alix Golobish of Lincoln, Conrad “Nico” Aleccia of Vegas, Vincenzo Aleccia of Auburn and Brittany Aleccia of Lincoln. Survived by brothers-in-law Joe Bellante of Arizona, Art Bellante of Riverside along with brother Carl Aleccia of Torrence. Nick enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. His favorite events were big family dinners prepared by his wife Dolores and family while Italian music played in the background. He always looked forward to the Italian Catholic Federation (ICF) functions which depicted his Italian heritage. The dedication and love for his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family and friends will live on in the hearts of all of us. A recitation of the rosary will take place on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 7pm at Chapel of the Hills, 1331 Lincoln Way Auburn, California. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 10am at New Auburn Cemetery, 1040 Collins Drive Auburn, California.
