David Edwin Nelthorpe

June 2, 1954-September 7, 2010

David was a lifelong resident of Placer County and Loomis. He was born to Donna and Edwin Nelthorpe in Sacramento on June 2, 1954 with his twin Sister Diane. He graduated from Del Oro High school in 1972. He worked at the family business Nelthorpe &Son which had been established in 1915 in Loomis.

David loved to travel around the world with his good friend Alfred. His other interests were gardening and working in his fruit orchard. He also was a gourmet cook and loved listening to all types of music.

In his early years he showed Shetland ponies with his family during the summers traveling to many county fairs through out Northern California.

David was preceded in death by his twin sister Diane, his Father Edwin, brother-in-law Bill Morillas, Grandparents Joe & Sadie Ferry and Lindsley & Beulah Nelthorpe. He is survived by his Mother Donna Lee Nelthorpe, sister Rhonda Morillas, niece Kathryn, nephews Matthew and Justin Morillas, and close friends Kimberly Isett and Alfred Corral.

A celebration of David’s life will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Loomis Congregational Church, 6440 King Road at 4:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Sutter Roseville Medical Center Foundation (S.R.M.C.) for the STARS UNIT at 1 Medical Plaza Roseville 95661
