Marie, as she was known, was a proud wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, friend, secretary, volunteer and artist.
She met her love, Oliver Gino Tatasciore, in 1951 and they were married shortly afterwards. Their family blossomed over the next twelve years with five children.
Marie served the US Air Force, as a civilian, for twenty years. She was an outstanding secretary to high ranking officers. This was proven by the many awards she had received.
Soon after she retired her loving husband passed away. Marie began volunteering for the Senior Gleaners, assisted voters on Election Day, helped clean her church, worked secretarial duties in her churches office and was a great addition during the seasonal Flu Clinics.
Marie had a great love of art. She had planned, after she retired and her children were grown, on pursuing a career in painting and sketching. She wasn’t painting long before she found her new talent, Counted Cross Stitch. The remarkable pictures she created were beyond words to describe the beauty! Those family members and friends who received her Counted Cross Stitch pictures are very grateful and happy!
Marie is survived by her five children, Gina, Marina, Tony, Teresa and Chris, five sons and daughters-in-law, twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
