I have had the pleasure of being a best friend to Jeanne and Bob's eldest child, Catherine,  for over 45 years.  I have always told Cathy that many of the qualities I admire in her...I know she inherited from her mom: kindness,  a sense of fair play, the ability to poke fun at oneself, a generous heart, the gift of managing budgets, honesty, a real aptitude for organization and most of all...a love of family and close friends.  Today, along with Scot & Jacqueline, I send my heartfelt sympathy to Cathy, her beloved siblings, her dad and to those special grandchildren and great grandchildren.  May happy memories be with you and yours.

Rest in peace Jeanne, you were the best mother inlaw I could have ever asked for. Thank you for your love and being the greatest grand mother for my children. You will always be remembered.

I already miss you Mom, but I am so happy for you too. You've finally made the journey to heaven above. Thank you for always loving and helping me be the person I am today. I gave you challenges and you were always there with an answer.   I'll look for you someday when it's my turn. Until then, I love you.

So many memories and where to go now that you've gone forward, Jeanne. You made me welcome in your home always, you made me laugh, poked mischievous fun at me, you know you did, pointing things out that I didn't know were there. How many quarters in a football game!  And when I was all alone, you were my family. You handed me my first child and said, "Here, you have to start sometime, you can do it.  Hold him!"  and laughed.  Shared so many life moments.  Big Bear, Salzburg, Burbank, Montclair, Corona, the LA Olympics Opening, brunch at the Hilton, cards with the Collins.  Places you were there.  We were there.  We laughed until our sides hurt over the magazine piece on how many ways to use Duct Tape when were flew back home from Frankfurt.  I thought we would need medical attention.  You were pure Joy.  You ran into the room at the church to make sure I wouldn't leave on that one day so long ago.  I'll never ever forget you.  Until now, in my world, there has been only one other person in heaven like you, and now there are two.  I miss you and wave farewell.  My heart is with you, your family, Grandpa Bob and everyone connected to you.  God bless us.  Light a fire and leave a lantern on for us when it is our time.  I'll bring the jigsaw puzzle.

I love you grandma! I am so thankfully that you were my grandma! Thank you for all of the wonderful memories growing up. There are too many to list. I'm very thankfully for all the time you allowed me to spend with you recently. You were a beautiful, strong woman! Full of love! I'll see you in heaven!
