Joe Edward Mikles

Joe Edward Mikles, born February 24, 1943 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Joe and Marjorie Mikles, passed away on June 21, 2017 in Roseville, California from injuries incurred as the result of a tragic accident. A 28 year resident of Placer County, Joe is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Mary Ann Mikles; children Terri Alvarez and Sam Mikles; stepdaughters, Connie Robert-Jamison, Wendy Bobb, and Tammi Cuthill; and 3 grandchildren, Nick, Joey, and Ashley, 8 step grandchildren, and 12 step great grandchildren. Joe was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth, and daughter Denice. He lived his life enjoying family, friends and was always there to lend a helping hand. Joe was simply a tremendous father, grandfather, husband, friend, brother and son. He will be missed beyond words and always loved.

You are invited to pay your respects on Tuesday, June 27, between the hours of 4:00and 8:00, at Chapel of the Hills, 1331 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA. Recitation of the rosary will begin at 6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1162 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA with a reception to follow.
