Leon bless his heart was one of the nicest highway patrolman that I was ever lucky enough to have for a friend. He was always very nice polite and caring and anyone who had him in their liife were special. Yesterday I just found out that he had died . I am so very saddened and yet so very happy that he is so at peace. My dad and mom and loved him dearly. He is deeply missed.

I remember him greatly as we used to swim at the Stanley pool with Teri and Craig. A great man, he will be missed.

I knew Leon from the time I was a toddler as my parents were very close friends (Danny and Clarice Venturi)  with the Stanley family.  We grew up in the same neighborhood in Roseville, twice, once when thy lived on Melrose Ln. and then when they moved to King Rd.  I will always have fond memories of Craig and Teri and our wonderful childhood.   Craig was certainly one of my very best fiends and I remember always looking up to Leon with great respect.  He was a caring and thoughtful person and I was so happy when he finally met Sally.   In the few times I saw him over the past years he seemed the happiest in life.  Leon, I am sure you will be missed by many.  God Bless you and I pray the Lord will comfort Sally, Teri and all your family.

Sally, words can not express how said I am for you. I was able to see first hand how great you and Leon were as a team. Leon we will laugh with you and give the woof woof a hug from us. Missed but never forgotten!

Leon was my friend from the time I was 14 or 16 years old.  It was wonderful to see him again in later life when we both worked for the same agency.  I saw him only occasionally these last few years but will miss the surprise of running into him from time to time.  Leon was a fine man and a good friend.  My love Leon's family.

Leon was a wonderful friend, we really treasured his friendship. We will remember the joy and laughter he brought to our lives, and the fun times we had with him and Sally. We will miss you so much, Leon!
