Patricia Catherine Furlong

Born and married in San Francisco Pat moved to Auburn with Richard in August of 1953, after he had accepted a teaching position at Placer High School. She was a secretary at Placer High School for over 20 years.

Pat had recently fallen and fractured her hip after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, dies on December 8, 2014, while a patient at Sienna Care Home in Auburn, CA.

In addition to her husband, Pat is survived by 3 sons: Dan of Tampa, Florida where he is a successful businessman: Denis a retired Los Angeles (Fairfax High School) teacher where he taught math-also for 34 years: Doug a math teacher on Molokai in Hawaii (Currently 32 years).

In their lifetime, the Furlongs have enjoyed traveling, camping, and numerous other activities. In their travels they had visited all 50 states and all of the Provinces of Canada. They had also visited relatives in Washington State, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Florida.
